(This is another post between Part 2 and Part 3, which will come soon I hope!)
Today we were supposed to go to Kathmandu (17 miles and at least an hour's drive) for our day off, but the road has been shut down due to a strike. I'm not sure of all the details, but the road is closed. One of the missionaries is flying home today (his wife went two weeks ago) and they took him in the ambulance and will try the back roads. (Usually ambulances are allowed through the strikes. Ramon has gone with the ambulances through strikes many times.) We're praying he will make his flight.
Since we are not going to Kathmandu, we'll probably just go into Banepa, our town. Here are some random pictures of Banepa.
I'm going to post this now while we have electricity and internet, which both can come and go!
Have a nice day! Bye for now!
